1. Who we are

Domo Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 73 168 330 238) trading as GreatDomains.com.au("we", "us", "our") is an Australian-based domain brokerage. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

• Contact details you provide when submitting an enquiry, signing up or messaging a broker — name, email, phone, company.
• Enquiry details — the target domain, budget, timeline and intended use.
• Technical data automatically collected when you use the site — IP address, browser, device, pages visited.
• Account data if you create a buyer account — authentication identifiers and dashboard messages.
• Payment data processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card details on our servers.

3. How we use it

• To research and pursue the acquisition of the target domain on your behalf.
• To communicate with you about your matter, including status updates and broker messages.
• To process payments and issue receipts.
• To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
• To improve the site, detect fraud and enforce our terms.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the business — hosting and database providers, payment processors, email and analytics providers, and registrars or escrow agents involved in transferring an acquired domain. We do not disclose your identity to the registrant of a target domain unless and until you instruct us to do so.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (such as cloud infrastructure and payment processing) store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your data consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry records (including WHOIS captures and screenshots taken at the time of enquiry) for the life of the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards to evidence the engagement and meet our record-keeping obligations.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Email privacy@greatdomains.com.au with your request. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
